Hi!

I’m Annsley Smoak. If you’re thinking that the name of my blog doesn’t really look like it’s English…that’s because it isn’t. It’s a loose Latin translation of the phrase “always writing”.

Why did I call my blog “always writing”? Because that’s me. I’m always writing. Let me add something to that: I’m always writing everything. Seriously. I have many different interests, and when I get interested in something, I research it. Then I write about it.

And I usually write a lot about it.

And instead of just filling my desk with stacks upon stacks of papers and flash drives and driving my family crazy, I decided that it might be better to start a blog. Blogging not only enables me to drive everyone else crazy too, but it also lets me share my opinion about a myriad of subjects–and keeps me from wasting desk space.

What to Expect

Like I said, I write about everything, so that’s what you can expect to see on this blog–a little bit of everything. So if you see a post about politics one week and an article on CRISPR-cas9 the next, don’t worry. I haven’t lost my mind (that I know of). I’m just interested in several different things at one time and trying to get my thoughts together on all of them. I’ll try to post at least once a week, (but don’t hold me to it).

I guess that’s about it. Be sure to follow the blog so that you can see new content as soon as it’s posted. (But if you don’t, don’t sweat it. It won’t hurt my feelings–much.)
